Animaritime Guests - Brad Swaile

With Animaritime 2013 only a few months away, we're thrilled to announce our third and final guest for this year's convention - Brad Swaile! Joining us from Vancouver, Brad is one of Canada's biggest voice acting talents and has years of experience voicing many of our favourite characters including Death Note's Light, Dragonball Z's Gohan and Gundam Wing's Quatre. We're excited to welcome him to our new home in Fredericton and hear some insights on being a voice actor and bringing life to so many beloved characters.

As the marketing director for Vertical Inc, and long-time fan and professional of the manga industry, Ed brought a wealth of knowledge with him when he attended as a guest at Animaritime 2011. "Kumar Sivasubramanian is a former Frederictonian currently living in Melbourne, Australia. He moved to Japan in 1998 and did his first professional translation in 2002. He has since translated over eighty volumes of manga, art books, and more from Japanese-to-English including such series as Hiroki Endo's Eden, MPD Psycho, Crying Freeman, Old Boy, Blade of the Immortal, Summit of the Gods, Message to Adolf, and Knights of Sidonia. He is also an English Language Consultant for the anime production company Sunrise Inc, and a one time Japan Correspondent for Wizard Magazine and Anime Insider. Growing up, he kept a tank full of goldfish named after Robotech characters.

It's amazing to see people who actually love anime in the maritimes. I've lived here for almost what.. 11..12 years now? and finding a friend where I live who likes anime was almost impossible, until I entered a contest and made like.. 2 friends there who like anime too. But still I was picked on for liking anime, for goodness sakes! =P I hate where I live but damn, xD anyways, nice to meet you all! If you have a con in Halifax or something, I'll see if I can go.

I'm thnking about trying to get a table in maybe 2013 would you say it's hard to get a table or easy? & anyone that has had a table was it worth the price to get the table?

just based on this year, tables sold out SUPER fast and it's a first come first serve basis. The price is the cheapest you'll get at any convention and I love the people there. You really can't go wrong!
